Town Centre Vision
Statement |
 Defined
by the Stretford Town Centre Partnership,
but adopted by all the key stakeholders in
Stretford, the vision for the town centre
is:–
To achieve a prosperous and vibrant
town centre with an attractive, clean and
safe environment for the enjoyment of the
local community and visitors.
Ambitions include –
- Ensuring that Stretford is
recognised as a town centre in its own
right
- Enhancing the retail and services
mix within the town centre
- Improving the transport, traffic and
pedestrian crossing issues on the A56
- Developing key sites within the town
centre for the benefit of all
- Ensuring that public transport
serves the town as best as possible
