Stretford is easily
seen from the main A56, Chester Road.
Travelling from Altrincham, there is a bus
stop directly outside the Chester Road
entrance to Stretford Mall by McDonalds.
Travelling from Manchester, there is a bus
stop opposite the Mall adjacent to a
pedestrian crossing. Information about

By Train and Tram
Stretford is less
than 20 minutes away from Manchester city
centre, therefore you can travel here by
train to Manchester Piccadilly and then by
tram along the Altrincham Line. An adult
return ticket from Piccadilly to Stretford
will cost £3.30 before 9.30am, and £2.40
after.
The Stretford
Metrolink station is conveniently located
within the town centre and is less than 5
minutes walk away.
By Taxi
Stretford has a
local taxi rank adjacent to Stretford
Mall, off Kingsway where there are a
number of black cab firms. There are also
a number of private hire firms that work
in the Stretford area. |
